Do you often have problem with the heart burns or pain in the left side of your body specially arms, neck etc. If yes, then you must read this whole post very carefully.
Let me begin with my own story.
It was a beautiful Friday morning and I was feeling a bit uneasy as a result of a late night party last evening. I had a bit too much of alcohol and I was sure that the heart burn that I am having, is caused by acidity. I went to the nearest pharmacy and bought a packet of some anti acidic tablets. I drank multiple glasses of water and walked towards my office. I took a cup of coffee came out of the office to attend a meeting with one of my prospective customers but when I reached there, I felt something is not right with me as the heart burn seemed to be getting converted into a pain and I was sure it was definitely not acidity. But I was ready to believe that it may be the result of my heart disease which I am not even aware of. I dropped the idea of going for the meeting and drove to see my doctor. After a few initial checkups the doctor said something is not correct and ordered for the ambulance. By the time ambulance arrived my pain was all gone. I told the doctor but still he insisted that I must go to hospital and he was dead against me driving to the hospital. So finally, I went to the hospital in ambulance feeling a bit guilty as I was fully aware that ambulance drivers are social workers and not paid employees and here I am having an ambulance ride without having any serious accident or pain.
Finally the ambulance reached hospital and I was taken to the emergency ward. To cut the long story short, result of the blood test was that I had a mild heart attack (unfortunately only after this most of us come to know about heart disease) but since the doctors were confused why I don’t have pain anymore, they recommended me to undergo angiogram. The result of the angiogram was that I was lucky that the artery that was blocked was not supplying blood to any other artery and when it got blocked, it simply died and then the pain subsided. As per the doctor, I was just lucky not to have a heart failure.
Well, I came out of the hospital after 3 days and then I got the worst news that I was not ready for. And the news was that I will have to live on a few medicines for rest of my life. That was something I was just not ready to accept.
This whole episode drove me towards conducting research and gathering information regarding heart disease. My mentor Mike Geary was a big help in this journey of not only preventing heart disease but also fighting it..
There are many reasons for heart disease but the most common and dangerous ones are:
High blood pressure
High cholesterol level
Obesity
Of course all these are interrelated.
Let us take high blood pressure first. Living with high blood pressure is like driving a car with inflated tires. You don’t know when the car will go out of control for a deadly accident. It may result in heart failure, stroke or even a kidney failure. Thousands of books are written on how to control your blood pressure. And I just fail to understand why so much of havoc has been created for something which can be so easily controlled. Here are a few advises which may help you bring down your high blood pressure within a week:
1)Eat two bananas a day. Bananas are full of potassium and almost everybody (including doctors and pharmacists) know that potassium helps reduce blood pressure.
2)Eat brown rice instead of white rice. If you don’t like the taste or texture of brown rice, mix it with white rice in equal proportion.
3)Drink 5 to 6 glasses of plane water.
4)Take any squeeze objects in both of your hands and squeeze it for two minutes every day. Research has shown that doing this works better for lowering your blood pressure than any other exercise.
Now if the remedies are so simple why these remedies are not being encouraged by doctors? I will give you a simple fact and you decide the reason for this. Today Pharmaceutical sector is a 10 billion dollars industry. Now tell me do you need me to explain the reason or is it self explanatory?

But before I conclude this article, let me give you a bonus idea if you already have heart disease.
This recipe was shared by one of our Pakistani friends and is a very good remedy if you have heart disease.
Ingredients:
1 cup Lemon juice
1 cup Ginger juice
1 cup Garlic juice
1 cup Apple cider vinegar
Mix all above and simmer in low heat for about 60 minutes or till solution reduces to 3 cups. Remove solution to cool, then mix 3 cups of natural honey and store it in a jar. Drink one tablespoon daily before breakfast. It works great in allowing blood to pass through veins easily preventing blockages. If you control your blood pressure along with this recipe, you will not only prevent heart disease but also get rid of heart disease.
